Foodbank Tins please
We are going to join the Friendship Tea at The Portland, Gurnard today. They are trying, like us, to get people together in a safe environment for making friends.
It starts at 2.30 p.m. with optional chair yoga for half an hour. Should be interesting! Worth a try, but no pressure if you don't want to!
From 3 p.m. There is unlimited tea or coffee, plus pizza and cakes!! ALL THIS FOR JUST £5.00
Our Pauline Wallis will host a General Knowledge Quiz for us. Cash prizes and donations to The Foodbank.
They collect tins of food for the Foodbank, so bring one along if you can. They do this all year round.
It is £1 a head for the quiz. Whichever team wins gets half the pot. The other half goes to the food bank. You could be the lucky winner!
