Welcome to the Tokyo Roleplaying Society!
We host RPG events in locations across Tokyo and connect gamers throughout the region. Whether you are passing through as a tourist or live in Tokyo, TRS has been organizing events for several years and is always eager to add to its rank of friendly and enthusiastic roleplaying games enjoyers. New player? Veteran? Dungeons and Dragons enjoyer? GURPS enthusiast? All are welcome!
Beyond our public game days, we also provide a hub for connecting people for campaigns and general RPG discussion. If you are interested in advertising your campaign or finding a campaign to join, check out our community hub at https://tavern.tokyorpgsociety.com/, a place we specifically created to give more exposure to events and people who are looking to form or join a group!

Asakusa Gobshots are additional events held throughout the months at no fixed dates at the location of our friends at Hot Goblin. We aim to provide one Friday, one Saturday and one Sunday event per month at the location to allow your one shot or regular group to play in an awesome location!
How the Gobshots work
As per usual, we’re looking for volunteer GMs to run sessions. We‘ll have just one time slot for this smaller event, from 7PM to 11PM. We have space for 3-4 game tables, so if you want to run something, please let us know quickly! To run a game, please sign up via the form on our community site "THE TAVERN"! (Click here)
We’ll create a separate meetup entry for each gaming session, where players will be able to sign up (though please also RSVP to this event so we can keep track of the total number of attendees to be expected). For our equally fine playing folks, stay tuned for these entries coming up and pick your games.
You can find an overview of the games here on meetup, and we will add links to the individual games to this post as they get announced.
Please support the venue by buying drinks from the fridge respectively - but you are already experts at this.

Asakusa Friday Gobshot Night is an after work game event held every last Friday of the month just at Hot Goblin. End your month by rolling dice, enjoying good craft beer and soft drinks and maybe even buy a mini!
How the Gobshot Night works
As per usual, we’re looking for volunteer GMs to run sessions. Please sign up on the community forum known as "THE TAVERN" and fill out the form to get set up.
