This practice presents basics to new paddlers; a bit of safety, Dragon Boat terminology, Dragon Boat Equipment, Dragon Boat Paddling technique and a low level or lite workout in the boat.

We will do these new paddler sessions every other week to allow you new paddlers to attend with more folks and therefore enjoy the sport with others before deciding to join our club. More info below:

If we have 6 paddlers we can take the boat out on the water to practice the paddling technique if we don't have enough paddlers we will do one on one instruction with each participant. These one on one sessions are really good for new paddlers because the coach can provide more detailed instruction for you specifically vice having the entire boat to coach if we're out on the water.
