ABOUT THE EVENT
Have you ever wondered why pasta at the restaurant is creamier and tastier than the one you might be used to cook at home? There's a simple trick and we'll learn all about it in this PASTA COOKING WORKSHOP! It's more like a demonstratoin than a real workshop, but you'll learn the trick you'll be able to do yourself at home. It's really easy!

Of course we will also eat the pasta together! For this event we will have Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino (garlic, chilli, and olive oil) e Pasta al Limone (buttery lemon sauce, also with garlic and chilli). Pedas pedas is guaranteed!

This event is AT NO ADDITIONAL COST for members of Jakarta Friends. I'll ask attendees if someone wishes to contribute with some small bites (perhaps a few snacks while we wait for the pasta to cook, or some simple dessert, or some drinks). But this is not a put luck, so don't bring too much food! Just a few bites to share with others. Enough pasta will be provided & cooked by the organiser.

The dishes are 100% halal, and there is a musholla nearby for everyone who wishes to have maghrib prayer.

Of course this is not only about eating, but also about spending some social time together. Everyone is always able to join our events. Newcomers particularly welcomed!

Teras Tebet is a lovely and cozy, family-owned warung-style restaurant in Tebet. It's really near Ecopark Tebet and the train station Cawang. We encourage everyone to arrive by public transportation as much as possible!

The location is not big and places are limited. Reserve your spot today!

HOW TO REGISTER TO THE EVENT?
To register, just click “Attend”! There are a few simple rules

• We kindly ask attendees who cannot manage to join to update RSVP at least 24 h before the event as a courtesy to other attendees and event organisers.
• Feel free to arrive anytime, although latecomers are not guaranteed to be able to see the pasta cooking demonstration or get food, if they arrive too late
• People in the waitlist cannot attend, and are encouraged to check a few hours before the event to see if they got a spot
• Repeated no-show (3X) without updating RSVP will be removed from the group.

WE HAVE A MEMBERSHIP FEE. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Since October 2024, our community has a membership fee of 300k IDR valid for 365 days after payment. Membership fee is offered with a promo discount to new members and first-timers, who can become members for 220k IDR/year. That's only 20-25k IDR/month, and there's plenty of value in becoming a member!

First-timers can decide to attend one event for free and see if they like becoming part of this community. Membership can be paid on the spot (cash/bank transfer/Gopay). Text Corrado (+62 89211 489 3580) if you have any questions about membership.

Membership gives access to all events plus exclusive perks available only to paying members, like for example our Birthday Celebrations with lucky draws. To many events, attendees can bring a +1 for free.

To all members we guarantee to keep organizing plenty of events. You will receive a full refund if the group closes down, or if there’s no event happening in three months.
