ABOUT THE EVENT
Welcome to an enchanting journey through the historical & cultural heart of Jakarta! This tour will take you to explore fantastic destinations.

Join us to make new social connections & explore the vibrant neighborhoods of MENTENG & CIKINI. Reserve your spot today for this awesome adventure with Jakarta Friends!

Duration is ca. 5 h including optional dinner. Bring comfortable shoes, enough water & an open mind for cultural exploration. We will go with any weather, even rain! People are most welcome to stay longer for drinks.

• Taman Ismail Marzuki is a cultural & arts complex with a fantastic library focusing on arts, culture & more!
• Tjanang Ice Cream. Old-style Ice Cream Shop and possibly the smallest ice cream parlour of the city! Read more about it here!
• Taman Situ Lembang is a famous Menteng park, and one of the oldest in Jakarta. Lembang is the name of the adjacent road
• Taman Suropati is a legendary public park in Menteng at a crossroad of three streets: Teuku Umar Street, Diponegoro Street & Imam Bonjol Street
• Shophaus Menteng is a must-visit stop in the capital & one of the top lifestyle joints in Jakarta with an excellent selection of artisan tenants. Let's enjoy unforgettable moments there!

HOW TO REGISTER TO THE EVENT?
To register, just click “Attend”! There are a few simple rules:

• We kindly ask attendees who cannot manage to join to update RSVP at least 24h before the event as a courtesy to other attendees & organisers
• The event starts at the indicated time. Latecomers need to find us after we start walking
• People in the waitlist cannot attend, and will receive a spot if someone cancels
• Repeated no-show (3X) without updating RSVP will be kicked from the group

WE HAVE A MEMBERSHIP FEE. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Since October 2024, our community has a membership fee of 300k IDR valid for 365 days after payment. Membership fee is offered with a promo discount to new members and first-timers, who can become members for 220k IDR/year. That's only 20-25k IDR/month, and there's plenty of value in becoming a member!

First-timers can decide to attend one event for free and see if they like becoming part of this community. Membership can be paid on the spot (cash/bank transfer/Gopay). Text Corrado (+62 89211 489 3580) if you have any questions about membership.

Membership gives access to all events plus exclusive perks available only to paying members, like our Birthday Celebrations with lucky draws! At many events you can bring a +1 for free.

We guarantee to keep organizing plenty of events. You will receive a full refund if the group closes down, or if there’s no event happening in three months.

THE RULES OF OUR COMMUNITY
Our communities are Jakarta Friends & Jakarta Creatives. Members often participate in events of both groups. Over the past two years we held over 150 events with over 1,500 attendees. Attendees rate our events very positively and give wonderful feedback.
