ARTISANAL TIRAMISÙ WORKSHOP with Jakarta Friends

A SPECIAL EVENT FOR JAKARTA FRIENDS ONLY

It's Christmas season and we will prepare Tiramisù together! This will be a WORKSHOP to teach you, step by step, how to prepare this delicious dessert! (https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiramisu) Everyone will get a generous portion of Tiramisù.

It's easy to prepare Tiramisù, if you know how to do it. The event organiser will have all necessary tools and ingredients to prepare it, and a recipe instruction to give to you to bring home, so that now you can prepare Tiramisù yourself! The event will be held near Kota Tua.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Participants will learn hands-on how to do Tiramisù from scratch, and receive a recipe/handbook at the end, so that they can do this at home! All ingredients and tools will be provided by the organiser. The organiser will prepare Tiramisù in front of you, explaining step-by-step, and you'll have the chance to prepare it together in small groups. Then we will assemble Tiramisù in separate portions to take home individually.

The cost for this event is 250k IDR including a generous portion of Tiramisù to bring home and share with family and friends. The recipe and knowledge you'll gain in this event will allow you to recreate the dessert at home. Membership to Jakarta Friends is required. Any member of Jakarta Friend who hasn't paid membership yet, can do so for only additional 150k IDR (instead of full membership price of 300k IDR).

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Places for this event are very limited. Participation is not confirmed until payment is received. Please transfer the event fee to Corrado Nai, Bank Mandiri, Account No: 127-00-1170246-9 (250k IDR for members, 400k IDR for non-member who will become members at a discount rate)
• After transfer, please send a screenshot to Corrado per WhatsApp (08211 489 3580) for confirmation. Ask me any question at that number.
• If you cancel in time (at least 48h before the event) and there's someone else who can take your spot, the event fee is fully refundable. Otherwise there's no refund (the organiser will need to buy the ingredients, etc.)
• Tiramisù is prepared with raw eggs, and participants need to be aware that there is a health hazard involved with consuming Tiramisù. As long as you are in good health, there's nothing to worry about.
• Artisanal Tiramisù varies from preparation to preparation. This is not about preparing the most perfect Tiramisù ever, but about learning how to do it! You don't need any specific skills for this event. Just join and enjoy.
• Make sure there's no allergens for you. Tiramisù is prepared with eggs, sugar, coffee, cacao powder, mascarpone cheese, ladyfingers. We won't bake ladyfingers ourselves.
• Tiramisù needs to sit in the fridge for at least 12h. You will need to place in the fridge without waiting too much, to enjoy the next day. If someone prefers, they can leave the Tiramisù in the fridge at PodKost to arrange a Gosend the next day.
• Be on time! If you arrive later, you will miss parts of the workshop

PodKost is very near Kota Tua and train station Jakarta Kota. There are parking spots available. We encourage everyone to arrive by public transportation.

WE HAVE A MEMBERSHIP FEE. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Please note that since October 2024, our community has a membership fee of 300k IDR valid for 365 days after payment. Membership fee is offered with a promo discount to new members and first-timers, who can become members for 220k IDR/year.

To all members we guarantee to keep organizing plenty of events. You will receive a full refund if the group closes down, or if there’s no event happening in three months.
