Shuttle Fees are $20 per person which includes tip. Please send your shuttle fees via Zelle or PayPal to Debora Mahan 804-920-6340. Anyone who has not paid their shuttle fees by November 23rd will be moved to not going.

This is a backpacking trip. Make sure you have the proper gear to backpack for the season.
This is a point-to-point hike. We will park at Jennings Creek parking area AT Mile 758.8 and shuttle to AT mile 772.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway where we will start.
Shuttle fees will be split equally between everyone going.
We will stay at the famous Bryant Ridge Shelter on the Appalachian Trail. This shelter is a towering, double-decker with space for around 20 people. Ever since I heard about this shelter I have been itching to do a backpacking trip there.
Saturday: We will meet at Jennings Creek parking area at 730am.
We will shuttle to AT mile 772.5 on the Blue Ridge parkway and start our hike there.
Start AT mile marker 772.5 Backpack to the famous double decker Bryant Ridge Shelter AT mile marker 762.6. We will set up camp. Water and Privy at Shelter. Day 1 mileage 9.9 miles.
Sunday: Pack up camp backpack to Jennings Creek to our vehicle AT mile marker 758.8. Day 2 mileage 3.8 miles
Total mileage for trip: 13.7 miles
We will stop for Breakfast on the way home for anyone interested. Suggestions welcome if anyone know of a good breakfast spot.
