1st Monday - Jam-a-Theme - at Queen Bee's
Details
DECEMBER 2, 2024 1st MONDAY JAM-A-THEME "Holiday Pop Favs".
It's December (barely), you know what that means . . . No, NOT Frosty the Snowman or the original Rudolph. It means other seasonal (but not religious) Xmas and Chanukah favorites including Wham!, Elvis, Sandler, Lennon, Springsteen. And a special twist on an old holiday song you can take home to a party or your kids. After the break it will be singers' choice from any era including lots of 60's, 70's & 80's. We'll have printed lists to help you choose.
🎶 General Description: 1st Monday Jam Oasis is JAM-A-THEME, hosted by Karen Riley whose extensive SongBookPro library (ask if you're interested) is sorted by themes. (See the next theme at top). Every 1st Monday we’ll spend the first half jamming on a fun theme. Then after the break we’ll open it up for participant requests. All jammers (no host band). Music and lyrics are projected. ALL instruments &/or voices welcome. We LOVE (dare we say prefer) when people come to a mic and help lead a song, but it’s not required.
Hope you'll join us! It's SUPER FUN! 🎵
Past Theme Jams:
• Nov 4, 2024 . . . Cars & Driving Songs
