🧑‍💻 Speakers:

Ionut Balosin is a software architect at Raiffeisen Bank International, an independent technical trainer, Oracle ACE Associate, security champion, speaker, and blogger. With over 15 years of experience in diverse areas of software development, Ionut has honed his expertise across various business applications. Actively involved in creating production-ready systems, his real-world experiences provide a strong foundation for his practical, experience-driven presentations, training, and workshop topics.

His talk will cover fundamental principles and flows essential for protecting RESTful APIs in microservices applications. Focusing on key security aspects, this session provides Java developers with practical knowledge to enhance API security in their microservices architectures. Essential topics like OAuth 2.0 grant types, token introspection, JSON Web Key Set (JWKS) management, and role-based access control (RBAC) will be demonstrated using Spring Boot in a microservices architecture to showcase application security principles in action.

Leon and Niyati are Senior Software Engineers at SQUER. They booth love the feeling of creating something new from scratch. This applies to both software development and creativity, like music creation. Being able to share those creation with others is then the cherry on top.

Angular’s RxJS and Java’s Reactor are both powerful libraries for handling reactivity, but why should I use them? In their talk they will showcase the power of reactive systems, how it can help you design clean services and handle changes to your data. Expect practical insights into the strengths, limitations and best-fit use cases of reactivity as well as some hands-on demos. Perfect for frontend and backend developers alike, this talk will explore how you can get the most out of reactivity in Angular and Java.
