"Pay to Park" meters are now in use where we park on 18th St (from 9 am to 5 pm Fri, Sat, Sun). Because of this (and the heat), the runs now begin at 7:30 instead of 8 am. This should allow most runners to finish their run, swim, and be back to the cars before 9 am. Sorry if this affects anyone but members are certainly free to start at a later time if they wish. Regardless of what time you park, I recommend pulling forward into parking spots so your rear license plate can be read by meter folks. You may be cited for backing in if you have no front plate (which Florida doesn't require).

Morning Run/Power Walk - 7:30 AM. On this run (one of our favorites) you can run/walk 2 to ? miles (the regular course is about 4.5 miles). All paces welcome! This run is - Beach & Trail!!

Meet a few minutes before 7:30 am and we'll begin the run/walk no later than 7:35 am! Park on 18th Street, Atlantic Beach - between Seminole and Beach. We'll run north for about a mile to Hanna Park, then hit the wide perimeter trails in the park for 2 more miles...then back along the beach to 19th.

Dogs are very welcome, but leashes are required and recommended thru Hanna Park. There are water fountains and restrooms at Hanna Park.
