What we’re about
This is a free music performance circle hosted in my pro studio in Smyrna, TN. All musicians and genres welcome (singers, songwriters, rappers, country, pianists, instrumentalists, mixing artists, etc.) There is a Hammond organ, Rhodes piano and synthesizer available to play, as well as tube and solid state amplification. You may play one of these instruments, or bring your own.
We will go around the circle and play for each other. Your performance may be written (songwriters, compositions, etc.), improvised (jazz, classical etc.) or pre-recorded. You do not have to perform, you may join the circle just to listen.
The purpose of the circle is to enjoy listening to new music and playing for others. If there is interest, I will teach theory, improvising or recording concepts. An example recording of me playing Hammond Organ is associated with this meetup so you can hear my level of development.
