November, 2024 SRUG Meeting Agenda:
* Introductions
* Announcements
* Workshop (Hands-On):

  1. Using a Hardware Debugger for Bare-Metal Rust Projects by Brad G.
    Have you ever wondered how to program a device like a Raspberry Pi Pico using Rust? We're going to tackle this in a workshop setting!

* Learn how to complile and publish your Rust code to a remote device.
* Learn how to set up a Rspberry Pi Pico Debug probe to debug your code in real-time!
* We will touch on the discovery/learning process and imposter syndrome so that you can feel more confident and make progress on your own!

* Equipment - You will need:
* Your laptop
* A USB Micro-B cable
* A Raspberry Pi Pico WH (WiFi Raspberry Pi Pico 1 with header pins soldered on)
* An electronics component kit

Please be sure you have (or purchase) the above before the meeting.

* A Raspberry Pi Debugger Probe (I have 32 of these available at the meeting for $13.60 each or for free if cost is an issue.)

We've also found from experience that it helps to save time to set up the hardware before the meeting as depicted here.

Looking forward to exploring the world of bare-metal embedded Rust with you!
