WHAT IS "ADVANCED" INTERMEDIATE DAISY DOUBLES?
Competitive, but friendly round-robin pickleball, allowing individual attendees to play multiple games with different players. As part of the Joy Crazy™ mission, "Connecting you to joyful experiences," these are welcoming, supportive sessions, full of the "I'm Learning!" spirit.
WHAT IS THE PLAYER SKILL LEVEL?
"Advanced Intermediate" Daisy Doubles is for 3.0-3.5 level players who can keep rallies going, have a variety of shots, are comfortable at the non-volley line, and anticipate their opponents shots. Spins, lobs, smashes, deep drives and short dinks are expected.
WHAT IS THE PREREQUISITE?
That you play at a 3.0-3.5 skill level based on the USA Pickleball player skill rating system. To learn your skill level, see the links on JoyCrazy.com
NOTE: If you are *2.5 - 3.0* it is recommended that you attend the "Intermediate" Daisy Doubles.
WHERE DO WE PLAY?
The Friendly House, in NW Portland, 1737 NW 26th Ave, Portland OR 97210 (Bus lines: 15, 26, 77). See parking info below.
WHAT DOES THE EVENT FEE COVER?
- Certified IPTPA Pickleball Instructor-hosted games
- All supplies: paddles, balls, and nets
- Max 10 participants
- Indoor gym rental - wooden/safer floor!
- Continued access to Joy Crazy™ online resources at JoyCrazy.com
A refund is available if you cancel within 48 hours of the event.
HOW DO I PAY AND RESERVE MY SPOT?

WHAT CAN I DO WHILE I WAIT?

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
- Athletic attire (layers)
- Protective eyewear is highly recommended, but not required
- Hard-soled court shoes
- Baseball cap or visor as the indoor lighting is bright.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- Water or electrolyte drink
- Pickleball paddle if you have one; paddles are supplied
- A cellphone to "take notes"
- Hand towel
- Seriously, hydrate well before coming to play, *and* bring something to drink, your muscles will thank you
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Arrive early as you may need to circle the neighborhood to find free street parking. There is one disabled parking spot in front of the building.
WHAT IS THE MEDICAL REMINDER?
If you are recovering from an injury, struggle with balance, or have a chronic condition that may impact your play please check with your doctor before attending this event.
