JOY CRAZY™ **BEGINNING** DAISY DOUBLES
--> ONLY PREVIOUS STUDENTS MAY ATTEND <--
"Enjoyed learning a new skill & making connections! Shannon was a fantastic teacher who created a welcoming experience & clearly articulated the elements of the game. Plus it was fun! Highly recommended." Jennifer W. Google Review
WHAT IS BEGINNING DAISY DOUBLES?
Beginning Daisy Doubles is "round robin" pickleball. It allows individual attendees to play multiple games with different players. These are welcoming, supportive sessions, full of the "I'm Learning!" spirit.
Beginning Daisy Doubles is for those players who are new to pickleball and building confidence in their serves, returns, and dink shots. These players are still getting the hang of court positioning, scoring and learning how to keep a rally going.
WHAT IS THE PREREQUISITE?
Only students who have attended a Joy Crazy™ Introduction to Pickleball class taught by Shannon Diffenderffer, M.Ed. can attend Beginning Daisy Doubles. (Shannon's PCC students also welcome.) Shannon has standards for player etiquette and safety that are taught in her classes.
NOTE: This is a time for friendly games that build skills and confidence. If your player level is above 2.5 it is recommended that you attend the "Intermediate Daisy Doubles." If you want to join/support someone who is new to the sport, you are welcome, but we ask that you play in a way that does not overwhelm our "newbies." To check your player level, see the links on JoyCrazy.com
WHERE DO WE PLAY?
The Friendly House, in NW Portland, 1737 NW 26th Ave, Portland OR 97210 (Bus lines: 15, 26, 77). See parking info below.
