Mixed Signals: How Reactivity evolved in the JavaScript Ecosystem
Details
For our next meetup, we will examine Reactivity across the JavaScript Ecosystem and how modern frameworks handle state with the help of the good ’ol Observer Pattern. We will also deep-dive into the implementations found in React, Solid, Angular, Vue, and Svelte and examine the new TC39 Stage 1 “Signals standard proposal. “
We know that reactivity can cause many headaches just thinking about it, and with the recent hype of Signals, it can all seem very confusing. At least that’s how Florin feels, and why he chose to talk about this topic.
With the hope that there will be no more “mixed signals” from JS, we are looking forward to seeing you all!
Here's the full agenda for the event:
18:30 - 18:45 - Welcome and registration
18:45 - 20:00 -Mixed Signals: How Reactivity Evolved in the JavaScript Ecosystem with Florin Tomozei
20:15 - 21:00 - Closing thoughts and networking
About Florin
He is a software developer and engineer passionate about front-end development and All Things JavaScript. He believes “done is better than perfect” and usually, “less is more”, especially when discussing software. Programmer by day and JSHero by night, he tries to give back as often as he can, as a community and conference organizer. If there is any time left, he likes to spend it in nature, taking photos.
Snacks and drinks are provided by our host, RebelDot.
