What we’re about
We are a group of awesome women who are in various stages of learning to play golf. We usually play 9 Holes but may sometimes go for 18. This is a no pressure group; beginners are welcome. Sacrifices to the water gods are expected. All we ask is that you show up ready to play when you say you will. Over 21 and under 105. Dues $10 a year to help cover expenses. You will find more than just women to play golf with; you will find true friends. We play Indian Creek on Tuesday and we sometimes play on Thursdays and Sundays.
We play "Ready Golf". This keeps the game moving. Basically this means that you should always be ready as soon as possible for your next shot and whoever is ready should go ahead and hit or putt even if they are not the farthest from the hole. You don't have to wait for everyone to get on the green to putt. Of course safety is important so don't go out in front of someone to hit your ball (that is one time you do wait). Two people on opposite sides of the fairway can hit at the same time unless they are both chipping toward the hole. Use common sense. The goal is to keep a good pace but not cause anyone to feel rushed or stressed.
