Kanman Zen invites all folk to Zen-Dao meditations. Contact us to schedule an intro, at 646-801-9218, or through Meetup. The intro is to prepare you to participate. All ages and body types welcome.
We offer weekly, monthly and seasonal opportunities for meditation online and in-person. Seated Meditation is known as zazen in the Zen tradition.
Attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them.

This is an online activity. We meditate for 20-25 minutes. All ages and body types welcome. The meeting room is usually open about 10 minutes beforehand. After beginning the entrance will be closed to preserve the quiescence and integrity of the absorption.
New, regular and seasoned meditators are welcome join an early evening period of zazen (seated meditation). If new to meditating, please inform us and plan an intro, and receive some basic instruction on how to proceed.
Sometimes we may include a pearl of wisdom for you to consider, and on the Saturday edition may include more time for after-talk. As an expression of openness, Noten provides a non-dogmatic approach to meditation. Relax, breathe, enjoy silence and depart.
