What we’re about
Welcome to Kansas City Singles Golf! Are you an unmarried golfer who has a hard time finding a game or just want to play different courses? Our group may be the answer! At any given time, we have approximately 100 unmarried members who love to play golf. We welcome all ages, but our current membership is over the age of 45.
The primary purpose of our group is to golf. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome, however, we don’t offer opportunities to learn the game. Given our focus on playing golf, and not learning how, this may not be the best group for you to join until you’re comfortable with going out on the course to play and practice what you’ve learned!
Starting in April we play a different golf course almost every weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday. We have 40-50 golfers attend each outing. Some of the courses we play include Adams Pointe, Drumm Farm, Falcon Lakes, Fred Arbanas, Paradise Point, Swope Memorial, Sycamore Ridge and Tiffany Greens. We also schedule three to four out-of-town golf outings for long weekends. Past roadtrips have been to Manhattan KS, Columbia MO, Maryville MO and Bella Vista AR.
Prospective members can attend one meeting, one social event, and one golf outing before they have to join. If you decide to join, KC Chapter membership is $89 a year, which includes membership to our national organization, American Singles Golf Association (ASGA). ASGA has over 70 chapters in the US and Canada. By joining KC Singles Golf, you are eligible to attend all the national and international golf trips coordinated by our national organization.
If this sounds like it might be the right group for you, we encourage you to attend one of our meeting or social events. We post a new event every month. Make sure to RSVP if you plan to attend. We look forward to meeting you!
Please check out more details on the website at www.singlesgolf.com. ASGA membership is open to any person, 21 years of age or older, who is unmarried (i.e. never married, divorced, legally separated or widowed) without regard to race, creed, gender or national origin.
