Winter is here and kayaking in San Diego is still an option because of the great weather here. Come out and enjoy the winter sunshine, fresh air, exercise and friendship with other kayakers. Lake Murray may be a small resevoir but there's plenty of wildlife to look for: the resident Osprey nest, birds, fish and plants/ landscape.

Meet near the grassy area by the dock. I will be there assembling my white Oru kayak. **Meet at 9:30 AM;** **Launch at 10:00 AM.**
**There is a $6 kayak launch fee payable inside the concession building.**
***NOTE: there is NO kayak rental available for this event***
Optional: lunch at a nearby restaurant after paddle
Dress a little warmer (jacket, knit hat, scarf, neoprene water shoes)
\*Kayak must be at least 12 feet long
\*Safety gear ***REQUIRED***: PFD, whistle, headlamp or light for kayak
\*Safety gear RECOMMENDED: marine radio, extra paddle
