Board gaming is a wonderful, social hobby that builds friendships and community for all. It is also a form of Play for adults. Think about Play as something you engage in, an active, self-directed activity with no particular outcome in mind. Play has no intended result, with the exception of joy.
Board games and social events are just the activities that initially bring us together. This group is truly about the people, friendships and community building, in a space that is welcoming and safe for all. We welcome people of different ethnicities, abilities, backgrounds and lifestyles. Hopefully this group can serve as a brief reprieve and support during these challenging times.
No experience needed for board game or social gatherings. Just an open mind and a willingness to meet people and have fun. Hope to Meetup with you soon.
