What we’re about
Among Friends- Kelowna: is a group of thoughtful, active, concerned, individuals who are keen to meet others, who want to have fun while doing activities, adventures, or meaningful projects & building strong bonds of supportive friendships.
Members may have the option to attend the Ogopogo Rotary club on various social events, fundraising activities, interesting speakers, or community improvement projects. (Some of which help women, youths, people both local & international. )
Activities that "Among Friends" host:
- social outings - picnics- dinners- movies -out door activities- hikes- walking Mission Creek- kayaking- snowshoeing - cross country skiing- dance events- Streeting Cleaning project- Fundraiser- wood cutting (which supports Local boy & girls campgrounds)- Protecting Bear Creek from invasive plants- Educational Zoom meetings- Zoom Game nights, in person game nights (when permitted).
Cost $5.00 annually Events will vary depending on Covid restrictions.
