Kendall Social Club (40s+)

Welcome future friends of Kendall Social Club! Come join the fun. We are a group of dynamic people from all walks of life who are single, divorced or otherwise unattached, in our 40’s and beyond, and live in or near the Kendall area. Are you tired of the old work, home, sleep, repeat routine? Are you looking to make new friends and have a little fun? You've come to the right place. Our social events include happy hours, movies, live music, camping, seafood festivals, local breweries, potlucks, botanical gardens, charity events, bowling, billiards, museum tours and more.
The Rules
Current Photo and First Name: YOU MUST provide an actual photo of yourself as your profile pic, and your real FIRST name in order to be a member of our group. This is for your security as well as ours. Please have a current photo of YOU on your profile so we can recognize you at our our events. NO CURRENT PHOTO = NO MEMBERSHIP. If you do not provide BOTH a first name (not "Mister Miami" or "M" etc. and current photo when you request to join our group, your membership request will be denied.
Membership Dues: There is a $10.00 per year membership due from all members of this group (that's less than 4 cents a day!) There is a cost to run the meetup group. This small $10.00 fee will help cover the cost of having our group on the Meetup site as well as fund some small monetary expenditures through the course of the year associated with some events. Membership Dues are due and payable 30 days after you become a member and are payable right through the site/app or in person at an event but they must be paid within 30 days of joining otherwise the site will decline your membership until you pay the dues. \

Participation: Participation is highly encouraged. ****Participation is key to foster friendship.***** Non-participation for three months or more will result in removal from the group regardless of whether you have paid your dues or not. We do not expect you to attend every single event posted. We only ask that you participate at least once every month or two. \

Your Role in the KSC: We greatly encourage your participation as both participant and potential organizer. If you are in this group, we want to see you. A group with 1,000 members is only as good as its 1,000 member participation.
Attitude: As a member of the KSC, please have an open mind and positive attitude. Please bring only positive energy to the events.
Code of Conduct: This group is a very diverse set of people from many different backgrounds and cultures and the KSC is lucky to have every single one of them. Respect for others is at the top of the list of prerequisites to join in on the adventures with our members. \
