Kent LDWA social walk of approx 17.5 miles. This is a linear walk!
Meeting point: Whitstable Train Station
Linear walk from Whitstable to Margate Station along the English Coastal Path (Saxon Shoreway will turn inland along the banks of the Wansum Channel & will be a later walk). Take train or park at Whitstable station (Apcoa App or nearby streets) or Margate station & use train to finish/start as appropriate. SE Trains currently showing no engineering works for this weekend! Some public toilets along route. Lunch at Reculver - bring own lunch or HatHats coffee shop should be open. We will spend a few minutes exploring the ruins at Reculver Towers Reculver Towers & Roman Fort | English Heritage (english-heritage.org.uk). Just in case, bring headlight as we will be walking below the cliffs & light may be fading as we approach Margate
