Hi all! I just moved to Kichijoji from Machida. I failed to find people to creatively jive with down there and I'm hoping not to repeat that failure again! I would like to have groups for writing and groups for sketching, so if you're into either sign up and we can sort it via events later. We'll also perhaps vary where we meet up to sample some of Kichijoji's variety of cafes and such. And the park, too, because - well because its awesome :) If you have a writing project you want to workshop or a love of sketching - genre or style doesn't matter here but if it's necessary we can sort that out later, too - sign up here!

As for me, my name is Max. I am a writer (for video games), book editor, teacher, and PhD candidate. In the past I've been a bartender, a cowboy, a marketing guy, and other things. I love living in Japan but I have been trying hard to connect socially with people that are here not just for a holiday.
