What we’re about

King's Court is a circle of men dedicated to "the work" of emotional healing and support between men. We strive to hold each other accountable and assist one another in navigating the complexities of life, relationships, and healthy masculinity. You can read a news article about the type of "work" done in our meetings here - https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/08/style/men-emotions-mankind-project.html

Men of all ages, ethnicities, religious creeds, sexual orientations, etc. are invited to attend. Meetings are every Monday from 6:50 p.m. to 9:00. If you wish to attend, please contact the group organizer at least 24 hours in advance of a meeting.

Attendees agree to come with the following intentions:

--Co-create a safe and sacred container of non-violence for men to open their hearts to each other.

--Be open to learning and trying new things.

--Seek a greater understanding through listening, speaking my truth, and owning my projections.

--Encourage group members (and myself) to grow together in the discovery and practice of new ways of being a man.

--Allow the energy of healing and transformation to flow through the group.

Attendees also agree to abide by the following agreements:

--Maintain confidentiality and not share with anyone outside the group what other men do or say in the group.

--Not partake of any drugs or alcohol prior to our meetings. I agree to Honor this sacred space with my focused presence.

King's Court is affiliated with The ManKind Project, a non-profit organization devoted to creating a better world by "growing 'better' men... by training men and supporting them..." Find out more here: https://mankindproject.org/who-we-are/
