“What’s the point of community development if you’re not taking it out of that space”
This is what we asked ourselves while we made this group.
We run monthly small events and a couple big ones a year that do two things:
- Provide a place and activities to hang out with people and actually make friends.
- Teach people something interesting from local experts
Know Your Local is run by a group of local entrepreneurs who do different things but are all passionate about building community. Each of us know how important it is to make lasting, meaningful friendships and relationships, and how hard it is to do.
We also know a bunch of cool sh*t about mental health, physical health, massages, relationship budling, art making, clothing exchanges, sustainability and way more, and we reallly like to share it with people.
