Lets Walk along the River - Sequoyah Park

Let's take a walk along our beloved Tennessee River in Sequoyah Park and Greenway.

For this Sunday, we'll walk along a grassy and well-worn path in the riverfront Sequoyah Hills Park. This path is almost completely flat aside from a slight mound of rocks we'll need to navigate over.

For directions, Sequoyah Park is nestled inside the beautiful Sequoyah Hills neighborhood. Because there are multiple entrances and potential sites to meet up, it will be easiest for everyone to enter at the Cherokee Blvd intersection (light) across from Laurel Church of Christ. If you reach Calvary Baptist Church or Knoxville First Seventh-day Adventist Church, you've just missed the entrance.

Once you enter through Cherokee Blvd, follow the winding neighborhood path until you get to the first paved parking lot on the left; it has a small boat launch. If you've been here before, this is known as the East Parking Lot.
