Let's do Korean Calligraphy (서예 배워 보기)

Details

What is Korean Calligraphy?
Korean calligraphy, also known as Seoye, is the Korean tradition of artistic writing.
Korean calligraphy today is much more dynamic, fun, and interesting shapes. It has come to serve more as an art form than a tool to convey a message.
Because the writer's heart and mind was reflected through each stroke, it was a practice to train the mind and body. It was a repetitive ritual through which they aimed to clear their thoughts by losing themselves only in one goal–-to write well–and almost become one with the path the language travels.

What we do?
We are going to write short Korean sentences on the Korean paper which is much thinner and lighter than normal papers and is made for Korean calligraphy.

What we need?
We need Korean paper, ink and calligraphy brush
(I will bring all the materials we need!! No Worries!!)

Since I'm Korean(living in Gwang-ju), my English level is not that good :(
So I think somebody who can speak Korean in intermediate level could participate in this event

If you would like to join the event, please let me know in advance through either Kakaotalk or Meetup chat :)
Looking forward seeing you all
