We are a Korean-English language exchange group for anyone interested in Korean language and culture. All skills levels are welcome. We are always looking to find language exchange partners who are learning Korean or English in the Chicagoland area and beyond (we have language exchange with our friends in Korea online via Zoom).

우리는 토요일 아침(시카고 시간)에 카페에서 만나거나 토요일 아침(한국 시간)에 온라인으로 만납니다. 짧은 자기소개 후, 15분 동안 영어로, 15분 동안 한국어로 번갈아가며 대화합니다 (시카고에서 언어교환이 끝난 후, 점심식사까지 함께 해도 좋습니다.)

Let’s meet for a language exchange! How it works:
We meet at a Panera Bread in Buffalo Grove for conversation practice. After brief introductions, we will alternate between 15 minutes of English and 15 minutes of Korean (up to 90 minutes). For those who are new to Korean, we have a separate group that focuses on Korean vocab and basic grammar.
After our Conversation Table, if anyone wants to go out for lunch, we can eat together too!
Since space is limited, please RSVP ASAP. We have Conversation Table on the third Saturday of every month!
Also, we highly recommend that you bring a notebook with you to jot down new vocabulary words that you learn during conversation (you should then try to master those words as you will use many of the same words over and over again in real-life conversation!).

We meet at the Chinatown Public Library in Chinatown (2100 S. Wentworth Ave, Chicago) for conversation practice. We have the large study room reserved for our group.
After brief introductions, we will alternate between 15 minutes of English and 15 minutes of Korean (up to 90 minutes). For those who are new to Korean, we have a separate group that focuses on Korean vocab and basic grammar.

Join us online for our monthly K-drama discussion! We meet via Zoom (Zoom link provided upon RSVP). After brief introductions, we will have discussion questions on a K-drama with an opportunity to learn more about Korean culture as well as share our feelings about characters and plot points!
This month we will be discussing 놀아주는 여자 (My Sweet Mobster). IMPORTANT: Please DM us for this month's Zoom link and passcode!
All discussions are in English (so great practice for our English learners!) Because we are on-line, we often have participants from Korea and other countries joining us in their respective time zones. We have K-drama discussions on the fourth Friday of every month!
