This is the FIRST of TWO extra special Meetup events for The Getty Center for the PST ART - Art & Science Collide event sponsored by the Getty Museums.

The PST ART - Art & Science Collide event is HUGE, distributed over many museums in Southern California; and, this is the FIRST of TWO visits to The Getty Center to absorb this TREMENDOUS art event in the Los Angeles area. The FIRST visit is scheduled for Saturday November 30, 2024, at 3:30 PM PST.

Join us for an inspirational afternoon of art, sunshine, and socializing at the beautiful art galleries in Los Angeles. This event is organized by the LA Arts, Cultural Events, and Social Mixer Meetup Group; and, it is being held at the world renown Getty Center on Saturday November 30, 2024, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm PST (Thanksgiving Weekend).

Bringing together art enthusiasts and single professionals in a fun-filled afternoon. Explore the stunning artwork on display and mingle with like-minded individuals who share a passion for culture, fine arts, and entertainment. Whether you're an art connoisseur or simply looking for a delightful social experience, this event promises to be a memorable afternoon filled with creativity and connections. This is a FREE EVENT!!! Please RSVP to attend!!! I will obtain FREE TICKETS for each Meetup member who attends in person!!!

We can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, a glass of wine or beer during the Meetup event at the on-site restaurant/cafe, chat/socialize about the museum (and whatever else) and enjoy the company of fellow Meetup members in the lovely Fall of 2024.

Plus, we can arrange to CARPOOL from a SAFE location in Santa Monica area (Demitasse Coffee Roasters at 2:30 pm PST) and drive to N. Sepulveda Blvd. to The Getty Center parking, which may REDUCE the overall cost of the Meetup event to a MERE few dollars (less than $ 10 dollars...for BUDGET MINDED Meetup attendees).

Who wants to pay $ 15 for parking when they can SAFELY and AFFORDABLY CARPOOL/RIDESHARE for a small fraction of $ 15???

We can coordinate CARPOOLING/RIDESHARING. Two, three, or FOUR people in a car, driving SAFELY a short distance from a SAFE area in Santa Monica to the fabulous Getty Center!!!

PST ART: Art & Science Collide will create opportunities for civic dialogue around some of the most urgent problems of our time by exploring past and present connections between art and science in a series of exhibitions, public programs, and other resources. Project topics range from climate change and environmental justice to the future of artificial intelligence and alternative medicine.
