Walking Tour/Hike-Venice Boardwalk & Venice Canals-->FREE EVENT/FREE PARKING!!!

Looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon this March of 2025???

Why not join us for a relaxing, leisurely Walking Tour of Venice Beach Boardwalk, the Venice Canals, the Venice Fishing Pier, and Windward Plaza along with the REVIEW of the ARCHITECTURE of the various buildings in the area as part of the overall hiking experience???

This is a FREE EVENT with FREE PARKING!!! WHY HESITATE??? RSVP NOW TO ATTEND!!!

The ITINERARY for the Walking Tour is as follows (however, we can diverge from the planned ITINERARY and what Meetup members decide to do for this Meetup event, I will go along with it. It is FLEXIBLE!!!):

1. Meeting Location:

We can meet at the entrance to Cold Stone Creamery located at 36 Washington Blvd., Marina del Rey.

I will be wearing a green cap and light blue backpack.

2. First Segment of Hike:

We proceed down Washington Blvd. from Cold Stone Creamery to the VENICE FISHING PIER. We can hike to the end of this VENICE FISHING PIER, or as the Meetup members choose. Certainly, the VIEWS of the PACIFIC OCEAN and the COASTAL LANDSCAPE are truly lovely.

3. Second Segment of Hike:

We then TOUR/WALK/PROCEED down VENICE BEACH BOARDWALK to review the various gift shops, food stands, arts & crafts booths, clothing/fashion shops, and various other VENICE BOARDWALK activities.

One may partake of some ICE CREAM, SODA, FOOD ITEMS, COFFEE/TEA, etc. along the WALKING TOUR, as Meetup members choose.

4. Third Segment of Hike:

We WALK over to the WINDWARD PLAZA; and, then we PROCEED down the BEACH SIDE WALKING/BIKE PATH back to Washington Blvd and the Venice Canals near the Cold Stone Creamery, where the Meetup members may decide to partake in some delicious ice cream treat to finish off the Meetup event.

I recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a small backpack with sufficient water for 2-hour hike with a total of no more than 2-3 miles at most. Also, bring some snacks for the HIKE/WALKING TOUR in case you get hungry (nuts, granola bars, fruit, etc.).

IMPORTANT!!! Meetup members may elect to diverge from this planned ITINERARY to do other activities in the VENICE BEACH BOARDWALK WALKING TOUR. It can be Meetup members CHOICE!!!

There is FREE parking along Washington Blvd. between Oxford Avenue and Via Marina. I have CONFIRMED FREE PARKING IN THIS AREA!!! FREE!!!
