Fishing meetup at Huntington Beach Pier

Hello everyone. I am so happy for us to have our Meeting at the Huntington Beach Pier!! We will be meeting at the Surf City Store near the entrance of the Pier. After everyone has arrived we will walk together to the Pier. I currently have 13 loaner poles available for our beginners. Once all 13 have been claimed i will close the RSVP’s. If you RSVP but find out you cant come, please let us know asap so we can make your pole available for Someone else.

Please read the following instructions before our big day:

• you do not need a fishing license to fish on the pier :)
• If you have extra poles please bring them :)
• If you can spare the money ; I will be accepting $5 donations at the beginning of the meeting. This will help make our program more accessible to young girls who can not afford gear.
• Please please please wear pink! I would like to take a large group picture to celebrate our event
• Please bring your own bait. If you are a beginner I recommend buying a frozen bag of raw shrimp. This is easy and cheap to get at the grocery store. Please thaw out your shrimp the night before as the fish do not like frozen food.
• Please dress for the weather. And pack water and sunscreen
• After the event there is lots of restaurants near the pier. I would love to catch food with yall after if you choose to stay
