Welcome to our Ladies Literature Club, a cozy haven for women in their 20s and 30s who share a passion for books, conversation, and connection. Join us as we dive into the enchanting world of literature, exploring a diverse range of genres and authors while sipping on steaming cups of tea or indulging in bubbly prosecco. Whether you're a seasoned bookworm or just beginning your literary journey, our club offers a warm and inclusive space to share insights, thoughts, and laughter. So, grab your favorite novel, cozy up with a blanket, and embark on an unforgettable literary adventure with us.
Here are just a few guidelines to keep everything tidy and everyone safe:
1. This is an inclusive group: we do not judge those of different racial, gender, or sexual backgrounds. Any and all harassment will not be tolerated and you will be removed from the group.
2. If you unrsvp within 24 hours of an event without messaging the organizer twice, you will be banned from the group. Please do not wait until the last moment to unrsvp, more often than not there will be a waitlist and by not updating your rsvp you cause someone who wanted to come to lose that spot. You can contact me via Discord, Meetups messages, or by leaving a comment on the event.
3. A single no show will result in a ban from the group. Let’s be respectful of everyone’s time. This does not include someone getting moved from the waitlist at the last moment, that is not your fault and you will not be penalized for it. If something happens, please let me know. Otherwise you’re taking a spot away from someone else.
4. We will occasionally reading books with tough themes or sexual content, make sure to do your own research and decide if the title we are reading is right for you.
5. We’re all coming together to have fun and read books! We don’t expect you to bring anything but yourself and some sort of interest in reading.
