Hello Ladies,
Get ready for a Holiday Tea party with friends!
I will make two different kinds of tea sandwiches. I am asking if **5 others** could each make a different tea sandwich to share.
I will make Turkey with cream cheese and cranberry sauce on raisin bread and Parisian Ham tea sandwiches on white bread. I will have an assortment of tea, water, coffee, and Prosecco etc.
I will also provide some small pastries and desserts.
If someone can volunteer to make or buy small scones I will provide the jam. I have seen small scones at WinCo and other grocery stores if you do not want to make them.
**Twelve Ideas for those making a Tea Sandwich:** 1. Chicken salad variations, 2. Turkey with Swiss cheese and Granny smith sliced apple, 3. Cucumber with cream cheese and herb, 4. Smoked salmon, 5. Crab salad, 6. Egg salad, 7. Tuna salad, 8. Mini Quiches 9. Pimento Cheese 10. Italian Caprese 11. Jam Pennies (Queen Elizabeth’s Favorite) 12, Apple, cheddar, and chutney
**Important**: Please see the Tip below on the butter barrier for making tea sandwiches.
Once we confirm the size of the group, I can then suggest to those of us bringing teas sandwiches how many to bring.
**Just Google best afternoon tea sandwich recipes as needed for other selections or recipes.**
**THE BUTTER BARRIER**

1. Regardless of the tea sandwich you are preparing, you need a butter barrier to prevent the bread from becoming soggy.
2. Butter must be room temperature and soft enough for you to easily cut through the butter with your finger.
3. Spread a very thin layer of unsalted butter on each slice. Set the slices aside.

**Plus, for those that want to play the game Two Truths and a Lie. It is a game where players share two truths and one lie about themselves. We first try and guess which person it is and after the person identifies themselves, we guess which is the lie.**
