Love to Sing? Sweet!
Welcome to the Meetup page for the Lady Luck Showtime Chorus - a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, singing barbershop-style a-cappella music!
Of course, we want to grow our membership and share the joy of barbershop harmony. We are about music, singing, competing, performing, community involvement - and having a great time doing so.
Protocol per this facility: The door has to be locked at 6:30 pm so please be there before that time. This is to ensure the building is secure because we meet in a back room.
Our rehearsals are Mondays from 6:30 pm - 9:00 p.m. Our music selections are exciting, edgy, and fun. One thing that makes us unique, besides our style of harmony, is that we do a little bit of choreography while singing. We wear great costumes, have travel opportunities, and wonderful educational opportunities.
We are part of an international organization with choruses in Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, and Dubai (United Emirate Republic), and is ever-widening.
While many of the ladies who've joined us are already experienced Sweet Adelines, that’s not necessary. As long as you can carry a tune, have a passion for music, and are willing to learn, we can teach you the rest. We'd love to have you check us out as we continue on our musical journey...
