Furkids welcome as long as all rules, etiquette and safety are followed.
Lunch to follow the hike, location TBD - DISCLOSURE: I've not done this hike before and don't know yet what's in the area but will be researching and suggestions are welcome.

Get to know this **5.7-mile** loop trail near Morrisville, North Carolina. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 56 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

If anyone has done this trail before and wants to be a resource to me that would be awesome! Otherwise please be advised this is an adventure in new territory for your organizer.

We'll do a loop around Lake Crabtree. This is nice walk with good views of the lake. It includes some greenway sections, and some wooded paths. Parts of the trail is flat, but there is a hilly section. Pace will about 2.5 mph - basically will be regulated by the pups and their need to stop sniff pee etc.

Meet at Lake Crabtree Park (not the Old Reedy Creek Road Parking.)
After entering the park, it is the first parking lot on the right. Distance is about 5.5 miles.

Please layer appropriately and wear appropriate footwear; sun and bug screens, snacks as needed and plenty of water.

Event will be cancelled for rain, lightening/thunder and/or temps under 40 degrees.
