This event is for adult women members only, sorry no guests and all members must purchase their own theater tickets.
I looked online today and the tickets are for general admission, not assigned seating so I will buy my ticket after the holidays and will post here when I've bought my ticket.

Please comment if/when you have bought our ticket ($12.50) but that's not required to RSVP here.

The Carolina Theatre of Durham is a beautiful and quaint historic theater and event venue in downtown Durham, North Carolina:

* **History**: Built in 1926, the Carolina Theatre is the oldest theater in Durham and the only remaining Vaudeville-era theater in the city. It was originally called the Durham Auditorium and hosted community events and national touring acts. The theater was segregated until 1963, when the City of Durham desegregated it after years of protests.
* **Features**: The theater has a main stage called Fletcher Hall that seats 1,048

There are tons of unique places to eat within walking distance. The movie begins at 7pm so our plan to meet at 5 is to have dinner ahead of time. Plenty of street and public parking also within walking distance. When the dinner site is confirmed, that information will be added to the meetup event.

This is a rain or shine event - any ticket refunds or exchanges are not within my control if your plans change, you will need to address that directly with the venue.

Please be courteous of your organizer and other attendees and do not wait until the last half hour before start time or later to change your RSVP. And please do not be a no show. We will initially be in the lobby when we arrive but once they allow us to take our seats I will head inside the theater especially if seating remains unassigned, to make sure I can save seats for those attending - another reason to please not cancel so late or be a no show.

Please note that cancellations after - and possibly within 30 min prior to - event start time may be changed by the organizer to a "no show".
