Eat too much on Thanksgiving??? Then join us for a chasing turkey hike at Ryerson Conservation Area......this new to us tail is a 3.0-mile loop near Lincolnshire. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 54 min to complete. This is a popular trail for cross-country skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Family and friends welcome, however you'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

After the hike, let's head over to Buffalo Creek Brewing for the opening of their Alpine Biergarten, cozy camp fires and a brew or two.
