10 mile circular walk starting off at Ball Grove Park near Trawden then onto Wycoller, to see the ruins of Wycoller Hall where Emily Brontë is thought to have got the idea for Ferndean Manor in her novel, Jane Eyre. Wycoller was also a location for the 1970 movie “The Railway Children”. We then start the climb up to Boulsworth Hill for some fantastic views over Pendle.
Bring your dog (if you’ve got one) maybe a drink and a bite to eat.
There will be some sheep on the way, so if you are letting your dog off the lead make sure you have got good recall.
