Dear friends , After over 11 years our Meetup group will be closing down on 20th November 2024 .

We have shared many fond memories over the years , many lasting friendships have been made. We have been dancing, eating , drinking, had trips to the cinema , theatre, and to concerts , and enjoyed boat trips , markets and in addition enjoyed summer walks in the country. Ironically some of these events have been with social distancing . Having our Meetup has been a wonderful way of meeting people and taking part in a broad range of activities. We have had many happy times .
However like many other Meetup groups ( except walking ones ) , people have moved on and there are more ways to meet and connect with others now .

Wishing everyone continued health and happiness .
