Join us at 10:00 am on Saturday December 21 for the 30th Annual Solstice Float. We will meet at the River Street Park boat launch known as Sweeney's Landing for a paddle upriver on the Red Cedar and then float back with a side trip up the Grand to the dam near Moores Park. No shuttle will be required, and the entire excursion should be about 2 hours.

Unless the weather is absolutely awful, we will spend part of the shortest day of the year doing what we love to do. This used to be called the Christmas Eve Morning Float but has gradually shifted a few days to the solstice.

This is a cold-water activity, and YOU must take all precautions as a participant to ensure your safety. A life jacket must also be worn while on the water, and either a 2024 or 2025 waiver signed on file to participate.
