Latin Music Workshop

This will be a new group for people who want to form a group to study, learn, and play Latin Music, especially Afro-Cuban styles, but others as well, including some Brazilian and other South American styles.

All (suitable) instruments (especially percussionists), and singers, would be welcome so long as:

your playing standard is at least intermediate,
you have some experience of playing in a latin music group
you've got a good sense of rhythm,
you really enjoy these styles of music,
(it will help if your reading standard is reasonable)

This group is about to get going, typically for 2 hour sessions on a Wednesday evening, based in Wimbledon, and co-hosted by a professional latin percussion musician.
