Browns Mountain, located inside Kings Mountain National Military Park is a treasure within driving distance of Charlotte. Hike the forested trail to the summit for a winter view of the North Carolina Piedmont. This out-and-back hike to the summit of Browns Mountain is 5 miles round trip with approximately 751 feet of elevation gain. This trail is considered a moderate trail. Bring a lunch to enjoy at the summit. Transportation included!
