What we’re about

Welcome students of leadership and readers!

This book club is dedicated to reading leadership books. We discuss a leadership book during each meeting.

The group is comprised of professionals from all walks of life, from all over the United States, and from different professional and personal backgrounds who are interested in reading and discussing leadership books.

Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday (with some exceptions) of each month via Zoom from 4 pm Pacific/7 pm Eastern - 5:30 pm Pacific/8:30 pm Eastern. The discussion is loosely facilitated by the leader. We encourage healthy and respectful disagreement and different viewpoints.

From time-to-time, authors have dropped in to the meetings to answer questions from the group.

Looking forward to discussing leadership books with you. Thank you for your interested in our leadership book club.

Our club read the following books in 2021:
- Humor, Seriously: Why Humor is a Secret Weapon in Business and Life by Jennifer Aaker & Naomi Bagdonas
- Doing Good Better by William MacAskill
- The 21 Indispensable Qualities of A Leader by John C. Maxwell

We have used different methods to select our books, including randomly and by voting on books. We welcome recommendations for books.
