Writing Meetup and Social at The Soap Factory

Please note - this event will be at The Soap Factory, 4 Whitehall Quay
Leeds, LS1 4HR. A short walk away from Leeds Train Station. It is a requirement to buy something from the venue when attending.

HOW WE WORK

Time to write!

For the first half (from 6.00pm to 7.30pm), we work on our own material before drifting into more of a social! We work on our own projects, from novels to screenplays to blogs, literally anything that involves writing! Bring whatever you feel comfortable writing with - notepad, laptop, tablet, pen and paper, etc.

Everybody is welcome, from amateurs to professionals. We aim to offer an all-inclusive and supportive environment. No need to be there on time either. We like to get in the zone for writing and save the chat for the social.

At 7.30 PM we start to socialise.

Venue:
The Soap Factory’ is a design-led eatery and cocktail bar located centrally on Whitehall Quay. Open from 8am until 11:30pm daily, it’s a great place to drop in and have a coffee or lunch with colleagues, or somewhere to sip tantalising cocktails with friends on a Saturday night.
