Friday morning virtual ride with Rouvy

This is a recurring LWA virtual ride, at 10 am every Friday during the Fall & Winter season. If you RSVP to this ride and see an announcement of an outside LWA ride on the same day, please check the attendees list below to see if others, including the ride host, have opted to ride outdoors instead. I will make comment if I am not doing this virtual ride, but not delete in case someone else wants to take the lead.

If you have previously participated in virtual rides using Rouvy and Discord, you know what to do.

If you are new to this, then your first step should be to read this document: LVCC Virtual Rides

Each week, I will publish in this Meetup, the name of the Rouvy ride that we will use.
Launch the Rouvy application and search for this route. After entering the ride, start to pedal and then immediately hit the pause bottom at top right-hand side of the screen. You can then peal to warmup while you wait for the other riders to join you. You’ll see a list of them on the left side of the screen. When everyone is ready, the ride host will announce the start of the ride, just as they would on an in-person ride and you can then resume your ride per the prompt on the screen.
If you plan to connect to the other riders using Discord, you should do this before joining the Rouvy ride, as Rouvy only runs in full screen mode or join Discord on a separate device like a smart phone or tablet.
