Our annual New Year's Day amble.

PLEASE NOTE: The walk starts a little later to recover from the New Years Eve revelries.

We will meet up next to the Big Wheel in front of Bournemouth Pier.

This an easy walk of 4 miles through Bournemouth Gardens up to Westbourne. Then down Robert Louis Stevenson Ave, past Skerrymore Gardens, down through Alum Chine to the seafront and back along to the Pier.

We can either stop for a coffee, etc. in Westbourne, along the seafront or back in Bournemouth, depending on what is open.

Attire - Appropriate footwear (fully supportive and waterproof footwear is always recommended) and suitable clothing for the weather conditions.

Dogs are allowed on our walks, but must be in sight of the owner at all times and kept under full control, especially near livestock. Dog owners are to take sole responsibility for the control of their dog(s) and keep them with them at all times. Participants are required to follow and to abide by The Countryside Code.

If you decide at a later time not to participate, please amend your RSVP ASAP, as there could be a waiting list of people who cannot attend whist your RSVP is still active. Please do not just turn up without an RSVP as anyone who has not added themselves to the RSVP list will BE TURNED AWAY, I have limited the numbers for the walks FOR A REASON.

Members are to make their own assessment on whether their fitness, health and capabilities are adequate for participation in any event. Events may be quite strenuous. Participation in events is your own choice, at your own risk and you are responsible for your own safety. Your host is not a qualified leader, has no insurance and will accept no responsibility in the event of an accident and/or injury to a participant however caused. If you become detached from the group you are responsible for your own well being. By attending the walk you agree to the above.
