A nice moderate 10 mile walk, with occasional small incline nothing hard. Relatively a good path with some woodland and fields can be muddy.

Planned walk is to start top of Lakeland Drive then walk to start of Eccup Reservoir. Walk halfway around reservoir, turning off to cross fields, then cut through Emmerdale Village onto stub house woodlands. Walk through the woods, to open fields with views of Harewood House. This section is slow incline rolling hills plenty of sheep, before cutting through woodlands which can be little muddy. Stop at Muddy Cafe for refreshments, toilet etc. Before continuing walk through Harewood estate, area has plenty of red kites, deers and stags as we walk through. Then a hill which has an incline, nothing strenuous back to stub house woods which has a little incline. Walk back through Emmerdale Village taking a right to join Leeds way back to join Eccup Resvoiur. Complete remainder of reservoir back to Lakeland Drive.

Free on street parking on Lakeland Drive, Leeds, LS17 7PH or Alwoodley Lane, LS17 7PF. Please be considerate parking outside peoples houses. Meet on corner of Lakeland Drive at 10am, with a sharp 10.15am start for walk.

The usual £1 towards fees please.
