Let's Go Social 50+ - NYC (over 1,000 members)

Let's Go Social 50+ presents a new event in our series:

We are pleased to be hosting this get together at one of the most iconic locations in Manhattan.

Fantastic views to name a few of: Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island, World Financial Center, Freedom Tower, Rockefeller Park!

1. Meet in the Winter Garden Atrium

2. Walk on the Battery Park Esplanade and socialize at the Winter Garden Atrium.

We will meet and gather at the Winter Garden Atrium, after a few minutes, for those that desire, we will go for a walk for approximately 45-50 minutes North along the water.

After the walk we will return to The Winter Garden Atrium and enjoy an opportunity to:
- Interact with other group members
- Play games
- Prizes
- A special surprise

The walk is a rain or shine event -the Atrium part of the social takes place indoors in great indoor space, should you decide to skip the walk or be running late just meet us at The Atrium, which is in the World Financial Center where the palm trees are.

We will meet in the Atrium of the World Financial Center near the palm trees near the glass windows and the tables.

Please RSVP so that if any event changes occur you will be properly informed.

Notes:
1. The total walking time will be approximately 50 minutes; we will do an up and back to the north and walk at a moderate conversational pace. This will be about 2 miles, don't worry about keeping up, we are coming back the same way and can collect you on the way back.
2. At the Atrium we will have a designated area, it offers a food hall, with very good food and drink options.
3. While our group focuses on 50+ all ages are welcome.
4. Please feel free to come alone, over 90% of the people come solo, if you feel awkward or shy please seek out the organizers and we will be sure to make you feel welcome.

Let’s Go Social Club Presents a New Series: Let’s Go on a Picnic in Central Park
After record turnout at our last event, we are launching a new series: Let’s Go On a Picnic. Join us October 5th for a picnic at one of Central Park’s most iconic locations - Heckscher Area. Mingle with community members, play casual games, take in the beauty of the city & leave with new friends. RSVP to hold your spot - these are going to go fast!

About Let's Go On A Picnic In Central Park:
We will soon be saying goodbye to summer and welcoming the warm & cozy season of fall. The air gets crisp, the trees change, and the city is renewed as a new season begins. There is no more iconic location than Central Park to view everything fall has to offer in the city. We want to bring the magic of this season & the city to our community of members.
We help you connect with over a thousand members all age 50+, provide the location in the park & make sure that all have a great time! Over 90% of our members arrive solo. This is an inviting group - seek out an organizer and we will make sure you feel welcome & make new friends!

Games provided will include: Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, Horseshoes, Frisbee & Football.
What to pack? It’s a picnic. Dress comfortably & bring a jacket in case it gets a bit chilly. Pack a lunch (or pick one up!) & bring a blanket or chair.
Getting There: Follow the path past Tavern on the Green and just to the North side of Sheep Meadow, towards Le Pain Quotidien and look for the green flag.
