Christmas Candlelight Walk @ the Daniel Boone Home - Timed event tickets require

PLEASE BE ON TIME WE CANNOT WAIT AS THE TICKETS ARE TIMED. MEET @ THE ENTRANCE GATE @ 6:50PM. Event starts 6:55pm sharp. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I will also have a surprise for everyone there early.

Lets do the Christmas Event at the Boone House. This is mostly walking from station to station to see skit performances, story telling, historic info, musical performances, a live reciting of the Christmas carol any scene you request not really a lot of walking but lot of learning and entertainment. I did this last year and loved it.

A few new things this year:
Explore the historic village, illuminated by thousands of candles, and be transported to the past through Christmas tales and lore.

Don't forget that this year will also feature an artisan market in the pavilion. Vendors include Tom’s Coffee, River City Candle Co., New Melle Bakery, Jai’s Jewelry, and more! Internet is limited, so please plan ahead and bring cash with you to make purchases at the market.

Join the St. Charles County Parks Department this holiday season to experience a night of warmth and beauty at The Historic Daniel Boone Home! Step back in time to witness Christmas traditions of the past at the annual Christmas Candlelight Walks. The candlelit village comes alive as guests experience the practices of different cultures and how the holiday was celebrated on the frontier in the early 1800s. Visit with Daniel Boone himself as he reminisces of winters past. Enjoy hot apple cider, listen to traditional carols, and hear holiday tales both familiar and new as you make your way through the historic park, illuminated with thousands of candles.

Christmas Candlelight Walk tickets go on sale Labor Day!
Experience a night of warmth and beauty this holiday season at The Historic Daniel Boone Home. Step back in time to observe Christmas traditions of the past while strolling through the enchanting village illuminated with thousands of lantern-lit candles. Along the way, visit with “Daniel and Rebecca Boone” inside the Boone Home as they reminisce about winters past. Guests tour the inside of the home and hear storytellers inside buildings throughout the historic village grounds. Limited tickets are available to reserve between 6 and 9 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. Tickets may not be available at the door if the program sells out. Upon arrival, guests are assigned a time to tour the Boone Home. Each tour is limited to 15 people. Guests may visit vignettes located in the village buildings before and after their Boone Home tour. Each vignette repeats every 8-10 minutes. No flash photography or video recording is allowed. Tickets are nonrefundable.
